Over the last six years my current company file has developed some errors that would be time consuming to repair. I'm wondering what are the pros and cons of starting a company file for the new year. A pro is that it would afford me a chance to weed out and update sub, material and other files. A big con would be updating the cost item and assembly files that I have changed over the years. Any thoughts?
Thanks, Steve |

This link explains how to "start over" and keep your current data:
http://www.turtlesoft.com/Business-S...NewCompany.htm For most people, I'd say it's more trouble than it's worth. There are easier ways to "tidy up". For example, you can close old accounts so they don't show up in menus, and you can "start over" with new category systems, bank accounts, estimating templates or whatever, without redoing the entire file.
